  1. Interacting with Decentralised Apps

How do I connect to a decentralised app (dApp) with Gryfyn?

Follow the steps below to connect to a web3 app:

  1. Visit the dApp or website: Go to the dApp or website you want to interact with using WalletConnect. Look for a "Connect" or "Login" button, which is typically located in the top right corner of the website.

  2. Select WalletConnect: When prompted to choose a connection method, select WalletConnect from the available options.

  3. Scan the QR code: The dApp or website will display a QR code for you to scan. Open your Gryfyn account from another browser (or device), navigate the to the Connection tab, and use the wallet's QR code scanner to scan the code on the screen. This will establish a secure connection between your wallet and the dApp.

  4. Confirm the connection: Your wallet will ask you to confirm the connection request from the dApp or website. Review the details and click "Connect" to grant access. Remember, WalletConnect does not share your private keys or sensitive information with the dApp.

  5. Interact with the dApp: Once connected, you can now interact with the dApp or website, such as trading tokens, staking, or participating in governance, directly from your Gryfyn account.

  6. Disconnect when done: When you finish using the dApp or website, it's a good practice to disconnect your Gryfyn account. To do this, open your account, navigate to the WalletConnect session, and click "Disconnect" or "Terminate Session."

That's it! You've successfully used WalletConnect to interact with a dApp or website.
