# How do I setup 2FA?

Setting up 2FA option is only available after you have verified yourself, so please verify yourself first, before proceeding to set up 2FA.

1. **Go to 2FA setup page**: Open Gryfyn and navigate to the **Account** page. Select **2-Factor Authentication** to open the 2FA setup page. You will be prompted to scan a QR code with your 2FA app.
2. **Choose a 2FA app**: We recommend Google Authenticator.
3. **Scan the QR code**: Open your 2FA app and scan the QR code provided by your wallet or platform.
4. **Enter the verification code**: Once you have scanned the QR code, your 2FA app will generate a verification code. Enter this code into your Gryfyn 2FA setup page to complete the setup process.
